For some time now, Sheri Burke, Nicole Donahue and I frequently utter the words she is awesome after a conversation with Maria Meza. Today, Maria was SO awesome, that I am prompted to write you this letter. Sheri and Nicole share my feelings.
Maria is quite simply the best travel agent I have ever worked with, and I have been an administrative assistant for quite a few years. Not only is she courteous and efficient, she is also quite creative! From day one, I knew I would enjoy working with her when, after sending and email, I received an almost immediate response not with travel information but to confirm that she had received my email and she was working on it. I love that!! There is nothing worse than waiting for a reply, only to find out hours later that your travel agent isnt in the office that day and no one is covering his or her desk (reading emails and checking their voicemail). This is never the case with Maria.
Plus, I love it when she calls sometimes my emails arent so clear and she needs clarification or more information. She is never frustrated or annoyed with me for making yet another change to an itinerary or a hotel. She is always so pleasant and nice and happy that it is just a joy to hear her voice on the phone. Lets face it, I am related to most of the people whose voices I enjoy hearing on the phone.
I tell Maria frequently that she is the best and I appreciate her efforts on our behalf. I would certainly let you know if I was dissatisfied, so its only fair that I let you know when I feel one of your employees is exceptional.
